On June 25 (Monday) Team India middle-order batsman Kedar Jadhav celebrated his seventh marriage anniversary with his wife Snehal Jadhav.

Interestingly, it was certainly an auspicious day for Jadhav and his wife as they celebrated their special occasion in such a spectacular way. Jadhav has been supported by his wife during his ups and down and he eventually thanked her for being with him.

Taking to his Twitter handle he wrote, “Happy Anniversary #snehalkj 7th Anniversary Of Marriage 7 Years of relationship before marriage 14 years of togetherness Thank you for making me a person I am today U complete my life Minu I love u so much.” 

They will enjoy the time by spreading joy as Jadhav is also recovering from the injury. He would be aiming to be back in the national team.

The veteran cricketer who has been around the international circuit for a while suffered a grade two tear while playing for the reigning champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the very first match of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Moreover, it was a horrific injury which forced him to miss the rest of the tournament. He went to England and underwent a surgery and is in the process of recovery, as of now.

Jadhav was retired hurt in the first and the only game he played for CSK. However, he returned after the fall of the ninth wicket. He took his team over the finishing line by smashing a six and a four of the final over bowled Mustafizur Rahman.

Kedhar has been an impressive performer for India in the limited-overs format. He was a regular feature before his century. It was his good performances which prompted CSK to buy him in the mega two-day auctions.

Kedar was not picked for England tour:

Kedar was not picked for the tour of England due to an injury. He will be looking to make a speedy recovery and get into the national team while aiming to cement his spot.

The highlight in his international career came when he scored a stunning century against England in an ODI early in 2017.

In the process, Kedar Jadhav shared a mammoth partnership with skipper Virat Kohli. His innings ensured India reached the target of 360 after tottering at 63 for four at one stage.
