Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are set to take on SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the IPL 2020 clash in Abu Dhabi on Saturday. KKR batsmen faltered in their first match against Mumbai Indians and will look to come up with a much improved show against SRH. In order to do so, KKR have also prepared themselves to eradicate the Rashid Khan threat.

KKR opener Shubman Gill said that the wicket will be slow and favour the spinners. He also added the SRH have good and experienced bowling attack but KKR are prepared to faced them. Gill added that Nitish Rana and Eoin Morgan will be the key to eradicate the Rashid Khan threat.

“The wicket will get slow and favour spinners as the tournament moves ahead. At the moment medium pacers are getting swing under the lights initially.

“They have got a very experienced bowling attack. We have practiced well for situations when bowlers are at the top, we just need to bring those things to the game. Everyone has practiced against spin very well and we are very confident.

“With Nitish and Eoin Morgan we will be in a better position to tackle the threat of Rashid and off-spinners. A left-hand right-hand combination will help us,” he said.

The experiences of playing franchise leagues around the world has helped Rashid Khan grow his stature. He is one of the finest spinners in the limited-overs format and has often deceived batsmen with his leg spin. Besides that, the all-rounder has also proved out to be handy with the bat and often played quick fire knocks.

Rashid has an experience of playing 211 T20s where he has picked up 296 wickets. As far as his national team is concerned, he has 23 wickets in Test, 133 in ODIs and 89 in the shortest format of the game.
