Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), ahead of their IPL 2020 opener against Mumbai Indians on Wednesday, grabbed all the limelight in UAE as the Burj Khalifa welcomed the franchise with light works. The grand welcome saw the tallest building in the world turn purple with gold patches and with picture of their star player’s and franchise emblem is show.

Incidentally, bollywood superstar and KKR co-owner Shah Rukh Khan is the brand ambassador of Dubai. KKR, on their twitter handle, posted a video of the light works ahead of their inaugural fixture against defending champions Mumbai Indians at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

Mumbai Indians, with a star-studded line-up, might look to make a few crucial changes. The Mumbai franchise might replace James Pattinson with Nathan Coulter-Nile in their line-up. They will also expect their all-rounders Kieron Pollard, Hardik Pandya and the top-order batsmen to fire for them.
