Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will open their IPL 2020 campaign against defending champions Mumbai Indians at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. KKR have a well-balanced unit and will look to leave an early mark in the game. While Mumbai Indians will look to bounce back after their defeat in the inaugural IPL 2020 clash and register the first winning points to their tally.
KKR will have a mix of experience and young players in their ranks. England limited-overs captain Eoin Morgan can well assist captain Dinesh Karthik. While Shubman Gill and Sunil Narine might open the batting for the Kolkata franchise. Andre Russell, the most valuable player of the side, will look to help the side post big totals and later chip in with a few wickets.
Mumbai Indians, with a star-studded line-up, might look to make a few crucial changes. The Mumbai franchise might replace James Pattinson with Nathan Coulter-Nile in their line-up. They will also expect their all-rounders Kieron Pollard, Hardik Pandya and the top-order batsmen to fire for them.
