KL Rahul Cherishes the Moment With Lovebirds

The Indian team is having a phenomenal tour. They kicked off the tour with a couple of finest victories against hosts Ireland at the Malahide Cricket Club (MCC) in Dublin, in June.

The visitors continued the same incentive approach against high-flying England. However, considered as hot favourites, the Three Lions got perished for being too overconfident.

Visitors managed to provide embarrassing defeat to hosts successfully in Twenty20 series with a scoreline of 2-1.

It was a remarkable performance from Kuldeep Yadav before whom England batsman seemed helpless. The in-form KL Rahul added further woes to England Team as he slammed his second Twenty20 ton.

KL Rahul’s second ton:

Rahul got his maiden ton against Windies but unfortunately, it came in a losing cause, unlike this one. Rahul made sure this time that England will not be getting any chance to come back.

He became the second batsman to score two tons in T20Is:

The Karnataka-batsman Rahul fell cheaply in the second match and it was followed by another breathtaking knock at County Ground in Cardiff.

Prior to the United Kingdom (UK) tour, his batting position has remained a head-scratcher which sparked a lot of debate.

Performance in ODI series:

In the first ODI, India got a brisk start with the help of openers following sublime ton from Rohit Sharma. Rahul didn’t get enough time at the crease as he remained not out on nine.

In the second ODI at Lord’s, he fell cheaply on the bowling of Liam Plunkett who bowled a brilliant delivery and Jos Buttler did a rest of the work. It was a stunner from the gloveman which grabbed many eyeballs.

Moreover, it seemed that Rahul was unable to read slope of the pitch for whom the Home of Cricket is known.

Rahul seems to be enjoying the time with the most celebrated couple. He enjoyed a train ride along with his skipper, Virat Kohli and his better-half, Anushka Sharma.
