KL Rahul is all set to play second T20I game of his career at his home ground, M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru when he will walk out to open the innings with either of Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan.
It will just be the second time when he will be playing a T20I game there. His previous T20I contest at his home venue came in the series against England in 2017 where he was a part of the limited-overs series.

KL Rahul scored 22 in that game before being dismissed by Ben Stokes. He has played two Test matches in Bengaluru. His first Test at his home venue came against Australia in 2017 while his second Test there came against Afghanistan in 2018.
Apart from that, he has played many games for Royal Challengers Bangalore there by virtue of being part of the franchise in past.
Of course, he has had also played a number of games for his state Karnataka in domestic cricket at that venue.
KL Rahul was the man in form during the 1st T20I as he scored a half-century on his comeback to international cricket after more a month and a half.
He, along with Hardik Pandya, was suspended by BCCI in January but their bans were provisionally lifted.

While Hardik was called to New Zealand, KL Rahul was asked to play for India A against England Lions.
His selection in ODI and T20I squads showed that he is in the scheme of things for World Cup 2019 and looks set to be given a chance in all the matches in the lead up to the tournament.
Team management is looking at him as a reserve opener and he is set to open the innings in the second game as well.
There can be a change of partner as Rohit Sharma looks likely to be rested, which means that Shikhar Dhawan will open the innings.
In the ODI series, it will be tough for the team management to make Rahul open in all the matches, which is one of the things that remains to be seen going ahead.
India and Australia play the second T20I of the series tomorrow. The visitors are leading the T20I series 1-0.
