It does not matter where the Indian cricket team plays. Whether it is the Caribbeans, England, or far south in New Zealand, they always get support that very few or arguably no team in cricket enjoys. And in a beautiful gesture, India skipper Virat Kohli, on Monday, thanked the fans for their constant and unconditional support.

The 29-year old took to Twitter to post a video showing the fans singing the national anthem and wrote:

“One of the best feelings watching this video! Thank you everyone for your constant and unconditional support for us. Your cheers and love motivates us to keep trying harder every time! ????”

Meanwhile, Kohli is currently in England with the Indian team for the ongoing ODI series. He will be keen to lead India to a series win. The three-match series is currently locked at 1-1 after England won the second ODI.

India had started the series on a thumping note, thrashing the hosts by 8 wickets. However, they failed to continue the winning running in the second game at Lord’s.

Batting first, the hosts rode on Joe Root’s century to post a challenging 322 for seven. Eoin Morgan and David Willey also scored the fifties to help England put up a good total in the must-win clash.

In reply, India rarely looked in contention to chase down the total. They lost wickets at regular intervals and were eventually all out for 236.

India, meanwhile have already won the T20I series 2-1. The ODI series will be followed by five-match Test series, starting on August 1.
