Krishi Vigyan Kendra has suggested Virat Kohli and BCCI to include Kadaknath chicken in the player’s diet. The Krishi Vigyan Kendra claims that Jhabua’s Kadaknath chicken is low on cholesterol. However, the Indian team generally eats grilled chicken in their diet.
Meanwhile, the Indian skipper Virat Kohli had recently turned into a vegetarian diet. The grilled chicken is a bit high on cholesterol. Kohli decision to go vegan was criticised, however, the Indian captain has always maintained the high level of fitness in his career.
Virat Kohli is one of the fittest players in the game.
“It has been known by the media that Virat Kohli and other players of India cricket team are eating Grilled Chicken in their diet. But due to higher quantities of cholesterol and fat in Grilled Chicken, you stop it’s in your diet and adopted a vegan diet (sic),” Krishi Vigyan Kendra Jhabua wrote in the letter.
In fact, Virat Kohli is one of the fittest players in the game and has a brilliant work ethic. Kohli has worked hard on his fitness and has reaped fruits for the same. Furthermore, Virat Kohli has induced the fitness regime in his team and the results of the same have been palpable.
“Krishi Vigyan Kendra Jhabua (Kadaknath Research Centre) wants to suggest Virat Kohli and BCCI that in the meat of Jhabua’s Kadaknath chickens the cholesterol and fat are very low with higher protein and iron content as per report of National Research Centre on Meat Hyderabad. Therefore, you and your team members can fulfil your chicken requirement by Jhabua’s Kadaknath chickens,” they added.
Subsequently, it would be interesting to note whether BCCI and Virat Kohli would take Krishi Vigyan Kendra suggestion. Indian team has paid special importance to their fitness and can go for Kadaknath chicken.
