Kuldeep Yadav Credits Virat Kohli For Team India's Dominance In World Cricket

India’s Chinaman, Kuldeep Yadav, has heaped praise on his skipper, Virat Kohli for his supportive captaincy and his influence on the entire Indian side. Team India has emerged as world-beaters in the last 5-10 years. They were earlier known to be flat-track bullies, but the Indian squad has evolved as a globally dominant force.

A lot of credit for it goes to the Indian captains past and present including, Sourav Ganguly, MS Dhoni, and Virat Kohli. They have been watchful of young talent brooming in the Indian cricketing circle and have helped them grow over the years in world cricket. This has led to team India’s dominance on the global stage.

Now, one of India’s key figure in the limited-overs setup, Kuldeep Yadav, has lauded his captain Virat Kohli for his support towards the players and his understanding of individuals.

Kuldeep Yadav Heaps Praise On Indian Skipper Virat Kohli

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the cricketing action has come to a halt, and the cricketers have gone into self-isolation following the outbreak of the virus. However, this has given them time to interact with their fans through social media. Kuldeep Yadav was also seen speaking to Sportskeeda, wherein he lauded the Indian skipper.

“To be honest, Virat is a very supportive captain. He understands the bowler because he is a great batsman and a great player. He also knows that the batsman can bat well and bowlers might have off-days. Captain’s support is very important and all the youngsters in the team have the backing of Kohli and that’s a plus point. And, the entire credit for the team’s performances goes to him,” Kuldeep Yadav said.

Virat Kohli Has Had An Impressive Run As The Skipper Of India

Virat Kohli has been an impressive skipper, especially in Test cricket for team India. Virat has led the Men in Blue in 55 Test matches out of which the team has won 33 games and lost 12 games. 10 games have ended in a draw, and he has a win percentage of 60 in the most extended format of the game.

Kohli has also led India in 89 ODIs so far out of which the team has gone on to win 62 matches and lost only 24 matches. One game has tied during Virat’s reign, and two ended in no result. Virat Kohli has a win percentage of 71.83 as India have emerged as one of the strongest ODI teams in world cricket.

In the T20Is, Kohli has led team India in 37 games so far wherein they have won 22 games and lost 11 matches. 2 games have ended in a tie, and two games have ended in No Result. Kohli has a win percentage of 65.71 in T20Is.
