While Australia’s male cricketers are involved in a fierce Ashes battle with English players on the ground, their female counterparts are having a good time of it which can be seen from the banter between Ellyse Perry, Laura Marsh and Alysa Healy. The women have already played out the Ashes with the Australian women retaining the urn. But it seems like it did not take long for the players to move on from their on-field rivalry as they showed good camaraderie off it.

It all began when Australia’s Alyssa Healy tried to pull her teammate Ellyse Perry’s legs on Twitter. The keeper-batswoman and wife of Australia’s pace spearhead Mitchell Starc posted an old picture of Perry on her Twitter account, writing: “Found your new profile pic.”

And even before Perry could react, Laura Marsh made the whole episode funnier by posting a collage of the picture posted by Healy and an old picture of England’s veteran pacer Stuart Broad. There was a striking resemblance between the two pictures, leaving others including Healy and former Australia player Lisa Sthalekar in splits.
