English pacer Liam Plunkett in all likelihood will miss the final two One-day internationals against Australia owing to a hamstring injury. The news was first made public by English skipper Eoin Morgan. Plunkett bowled brilliantly in the first two ODI’s and bagged four wickets but was injured in the 2nd over of the 3rd match.
There is no doubt about the fact that his unavailability will be a major blow to the tourists who have already taken an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series as they head into the 4th ODI at the Adelaide Oval on Friday.
”It was really unfortunate, Liam is going to be out for around ten days,“ Morgan said. ”He’s going to stay with the squad for his rehabilitation.

“He’s been a huge part of our progression over the past two years. We’re looking at the T20 series for when he will come back so there will definitely be a change for tomorrow.”
The final match of the series will be played on Perth on Sunday before England, Australia and New Zealand will compete in a T20 tri-series that begins on 3rd February.
