LPL 2020: Sri Lanka Cricket Welcome My11 Circle As Title Sponsors

The inaugural edition of Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2020 is shaping up nicely ahead of its inception. The franchises in LPL have also been recruiting players to complete their squads, finetuning their preparations to win the tournament. Concerning the competition, one more significant news has emerged as My11 Circle has joined the tournament as its title sponsor.

The first season of LPL ran the risk of getting cancelled as the health officials were hesitant in providing permission for the same. Eventually, not only the health authorities but also the government of the nation cleared to host the tournament. The competition kickstarts from the 26th of November in Hambantota. It concludes on the 16th of December as Colombo Kings, Jaffna Stallions, Kandy Tuskers, Galle Gladiators, and Dambulla Hawks will compete for the title.

Avik Das Kanungo, who is the director of brand and marketing strategy of My11 Circle, claimed to be proud of their venture being a trendy sports destination for fantasy cricket in India. Their primary motive is to reach out to as many fans possible worldwide and live up to the tagline of ‘Play With Champions’ and communicate the same through this partnership.

Ravin Wickramaratne, Sri Lanka cricket vice-president and tournament director feels delighted to announce My11 Circle as their title sponsor. He underlined that the venture’s willingness to become their title sponsor is evidencing enough of how massive their brand is.rav

“We welcome My11 Cricle on board as title sponsor for the Lanka Premier League 2020. Their willingness to become the title sponsor of the league is a great testament to the brand LPL,” Wickramaratne said.
