Madan Lal Provides A Massive Update On Kapil Dev's Present Health Status

Former Indian cricketer, Madan Lal has provided a massive update on Kapil Dev’s health status. On Friday morning, it was reported that Kapil Dev suffered a heart attack and the entire cricket world was sent in massive shock. Prayers from all over the country poured in for the 1983 world cup winning skipper as the cricketing fraternity sent their wishes on Twitter.

Having made his debut in 1978, Kapil Dev emerged as one of the finest all-rounders of the game. He played some scintillating knocks throughout his stint in the international circuit and fulfilled the dream of every Indian as he went on to win the first world cup for team India back in the year 1983, beating West Indies in the final of the tournament.

Madan Lal Provides A Massive Update On Kapil Dev’s Present Health Status

Kapil Dev’s teammate in the 1983 world cup triumph, Madan Lal, has now provided a massive update on Kapil’s health that comes as a giant relief for all his fans. Taking to Twitter, Madan Lal wrote, “Please join me in sending prayers, strength and good wishes to Kapil and Romi Dev for his speedy recovery. Kapil was taken to the hospital in time as he complained of uneasiness. As per the doctors the procedure has been successful and he will be home soon.”

According to Madan Lal, Kapil Dev was timely taken to the hospital as he received immediate medical attention and Kapil Dev will be back home soon as he is currently in a stable position. Madan Lal also stated that Kapil Dev complained of uneasiness initially and he has been in severe monitoring by the doctors and medical staff so that no casualty or fatality is caused.

Kapil Dev represented India in 131 Tests, scoring 5,248 runs and picked up 434 wickets. Kapil Dev also represented India in 225, ODIs, scoring 3,783 runs and clinching 253 wickets.
