Married Australia Star Nathan Lyon In Love Triangle, Pictured Kissing Glamorous Blonde

Such has been the popularity of Nathan Lyon in recent times that the Australia spin spearhead has found his way to the top of Christmas trees in his native country. Fondly called the GOAT, or “The Greatest Of All Time”, Lyon has been one of Australia’s most impressive players in the ongoing Ashes and recently the fans took their love for the spinner to a different level by placing his picture on the top of the Christmas tree.

The leading wicket-taker in Tests this year, Lyon has become a fan favourite after his remarkable turnaround this year following the disastrous season last year when he was in danger of losing his spot. He dominated in India with 19 wickets at 23.26, including 8-50 in Bangalore, and set a new two-Test series record for Australia with 22 wickets against Bangladesh. His form in the Ashes has been equally impressive.

However, his rising popularity can take a tumbling in the coming days if the recent reports are true. English news outlet The Daily Mail has reported that Australia’s spin spearhead is at the center of a love triangle and is in a year-long relationship with Emma McCarthy that has ‘devastated’ his wife Melissa Waring who is the mother of his two children.

The news outlet pictured the spinner passionately kissing McCarthy before the ongoing third Test in Perth. The friends have claimed that the ten-year-old relationship between Lyon and Melissa is on the rocks as the 30-year old bowler is ‘very much in love’ with McCarthy.

Meanwhile, a source close to Lyon defended the bowler, saying he had not done anything wrong and that he had already separated from his wife

“Nathan and Mel aren’t together, and have been separated for some time,” the source was quoted as saying by the daily. “Nathan and Emma are in a committed relationship, Nathan is very much in love with Emma.”

“It is 100% not an affair, it’s an open and committed relationship and everyone is aware of it, but it is being kept private for the sake of Nathan’s kids,” the source added.
