MI vs CSK: Watch - Ravindra Jadeja Bows Down To MS Dhoni After Dhoni’s Last Over Heroics Helps CSK Beat MI By 3 Wickets

MS Dhoni was welcomed by a bow by captain Ravindra Jadeja after he showed his demolishing best and helped Chennai Super Kings (CSK) beat Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 33^rd match of the IPL 2022 which was played at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on April 21 by 3 wickets.

It was a close match that went to the last over and Dhoni showed why he was considered to be one of the most feared finishers in international and despite being on the wrong side of 40, he still has the goods to win the game for his team.

Ravindra Jadeja won the toss and chose to bowl first. MI could only manage 155/7 in 20 overs and that too mostly came from Tilak Varma, who made 51*, and Suryakumar Yadav, who made 32 runs. For CSK, Mukesh Choudhary proved to be a gem as he picked 3/19 in 4 overs, including wickets of Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan for ducks in the first over of the match itself.

It took an MS Dhoni special for CSK to win the tight encounter as apart from Ambati Rayudu’s 40 and Robin Uthappa’s 30, no other CSK batter withstood the assault by Daniel Sams, who proved himself worthy by picking 4/30 in his 4 overs.

Dwaine Pretorius made 22 runs in a cameo that took the match to the last over where CSK needed 17 runs to win. He got out off the first ball off Jaydev Unadkat and Dwayne Bravo took a single off the next one to give strike to MS Dhoni.

Dhoni smashed 6,4, 2, and 4 to take CSK home by 3 wickets and when he was returning to the dugout, he was met by CSK captain Ravindra Jadeja, who bowed down to him in respect and acknowledged his heroics.
