Former England skipper Michael Vaughan has predicted his nation to beat India in the third and final ODI at Leeds to life One-day International trophy.

Following an eight-wicket loss in the first ODI, England bounced back in the second game to take the series into an exciting decider. Joe Root’s unbeaten knock will give the hosts the much-needed confidence ahead of the final ODI. Moreover, Root’s hundred, and fifties from Eoin Morgan and David Willey reiterate the depth that England have in their batting.

Thye have also called up James Vince and Sam Billings as a cover-up for injured Jason Roy. With Jason Roy in an injury doubt with his finger, Vince may get some game time.

England were better able to handle the spin of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal in the second match. But the Indian spinners have consistently been a threat all tour, quickly bouncing back from off days. They have also struggled due to the inexperience in the seaming department. However, the return of Bhuvneshwar Kumar from injury will solve Virat Kohli’s woes.
