Miss Diva 2018 Runner-Up Roshni Sheoran Hails MS Dhoni

MS Dhoni has become a familiar figure in the recent times. In the Miss Diva 2018 contest, runner-up Roshni Sheoran spoke about Dhoni on stage. Meanwhile, MS Dhoni’s name was used to set an example in Miss Diva 2018. When the host asked her about the contribution by legends to make our country shine, Roshni applauded the former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

However, the judges of the contest Sushant Singh Rajput and Shilpa Shetty are the ardent fans of cricket.  Both of them wore a smile after her reply, and so did the other contestants. In fact, Sushant had portrayed MS Dhoni in the movie MS Dhoni – The Untold story. On the other hand, Shilpa Shetty owns the Rajasthan Royals team in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Roshni also added that MS Dhoni always encourages his teammates to do better on the field.

“He has the qualities that a great leader should possess. Firstly, he is the ‘captain cool’. He can take situations in a calm way. Secondly, he always encourages his teammates to look better and that’s teamwork,” she said.

MS Dhoni has been one of the most adorable personalities in the Indian cricket. He is the only captain to win all the ICC trophies and there are several other feathers to his cap. Moreover, he is widely known for his down-to-earth personality off the field for which he has an immense fan following.

Furthermore, MS Dhoni was also part of the Asia Cup 2018. He did a splendid job behind the stumps taking six catches and six stumpings. Dhoni had led India for the last time against Afghanistan.

He had stepped down from the captaincy last year in January, handing the mantle to Virat Kohli. Dhoni created a record on that day as it was his 200th ODI as the captain of the Indian cricket team.
