Mithali Raj Names Her Favourites For IPL 2020

Mithali Raj, the legendary Indian cricketer, recently picked her favorites to win the IPL this time around during an interaction with India Today and the most capped and highest run-scorer in women’s cricket responded by saying that while SunRisers Hyderabad is one of her favorites, her ‘top team’ is Rajasthan Royals.

SunRisers Hyderabad has thus far lost three of their first five games while Rajasthan Royals are currently on a two-match losing streak after having started off their campaign with back-to-back victories against Chennai Super Kings and Kings XI Punjab in Sharjah

“My favourites are Sunrisers Hyderabad but my top team would be Rajasthan Royals as they have been doing very well in IPL 2020,” Mithali added.

Mithali Raj also reckoned that given the mental space that India and Royal Challengers Bangalore captain is in due to a happy news on the personal front, will allow him to not only perform brilliantly with the bat but also as a captain in the upcoming fixtures of the Indian Premier League [IPL].

“For him, a lot of things have been happening on the personal front, very good things. I am sure this will rub off on his professional life too. When you are in a very happy space, it is very natural for a player to perform. I am sure he will continue to perform in the coming season,” Mithali Raj told India Today.

Virat Kohli started off the tournament with a rare string of low scores- 14, 3, and 1- but the champion batsman stormed back into form with an unbeaten 72 in his last outing against Rajasthan Royals to guide his side to their second consecutive win in IPL 2020.
