Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez, who is not happy with the bowling review committee team back home, flew to the United Kingdom to work hard on his bowling action before his national side is scheduled to tour New Zealand on the eve of New Year.

On the other side, Pakistan fast bowling coach Azhar Mahmood will also observe Hafeez, who would be aiming high to improve his action during the rigorous training sessions.

The promising prospect in the Pakistan line-up, Hafeez is bound to remodel his bowling action while working in tandem with Dr Paul Hurrion, who is a biomechanist specialist based-out in England as has further worked with the world cricket governing body International Cricket Council and UK Athletics.

“The specialists will study Hafeez’s bowling action and put him through different unofficial tests and then suggest remedial measures,” the official of PCB was quoted by PTI.

Pertinently, the 42-year-old former England first-class cricketer-turned-coach Carl Crowe is further supposed to help Hafeez while undergoing the remedial procedure.

With Hurrion all set to assess the bowling arm of Hafeez while relying on high-speed cameras, Crowe’s tidbits would be helpful for the bowler, who has banned for bowling again after his action was found illegal according to the laws of ICC.

“So that he can again take the ICC test to get clearance to bowl in international cricket once again,” an official for PCB maintained.

Earlier this year, Hafeez failed the biomechanics test at an independent laboratory of the National Cricket Performance Centre Loughborough University and he was suspended in the second-half of last month (November).

However, the ICC presser remarked the most of the deliveries from Hafeez has exceeded the 15 degrees limit according to the rules and regulations of the cricket body. Interestingly, Hafeez was made to bowl four overs before the data was recorded only for the then match-bowling action.

In July 2015, Hafeez was also banned for 12-months by ICC when his action was stated illegal. He was first questioned for his bowling action in 2013.

Recently Crowe stated he is confident to help Hafeez in clearing his action to see the bowling returning into delivery stride like before.

Interestingly, Crowe was the man who assessed Sunil Narine and worked hard on the premium Windies bowler to bowl again.

Moreover, Hafeez was dejected from the latest result but went on to state that he would give his best and represent his country while rolling over the arm too in the forseeable furture.

The selectors of PCB would also monitor the players before the fitness tests are scheduled to be held in next week.
Pakistan Cricket Board is expected to announce the squad for the Kiwis tour on December 22, Hafeez would be one of the main contenders owing to his fitness and experience.
