During his heydays, Mohammad Kaif has emerged as one of the many promising batsmen that India had produced during the late 1990s and the early 2000s. Along with Yuvraj Singh, Kaif had built many significant and match-winning partnerships for India in the middle-order. Not only this, but Kaif proved himself as one of the few athletic fielders India ever-produced during that time.

However, his poor form has cut short his career.

Like many past and present cricketers, the retired cricketer made his way to the Indian team through the Under-19 World Cup side and the former Indian batsman shared a picture of his World Cup triumph which came in 2000.
