Former Indian batsman and of India’s greatest-ever fielders, Mohammad Kaif, has recently opened up on MS Dhoni’s running between the wickets. MS Dhoni is considered to be one of the greatest sprinters on the 22-yard pitch when it comes to running between the wickets.

Dhoni has time and again proved that he is a superlative athlete and age is just a number for the boy from Ranchi. Even during the latter stages of his career, Dhoni’s speed was unmatchable.

However, it is very ironic that in his debut game for India, MS Dhoni was run out and it was none other than Mohammad Kaif, who was on the other owing to the miscommunication.

“I still remember the times when I ran with MS Dhoni between the wickets. The kind of pace and intensity with which Dhoni ran and continues to do so is unbelievable. I think MS Dhoni is the fastest runner between the wickets in the world. I was shocked to see how competitive a player he is, who doesn’t go to the gym, eats and loves his Butter Chicken and Biryani, run this fast,” Mohammad Kaif said.

His return was much anticipated with the return of IPL 2020 this year as he was back to the field sweating it hard for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). However, the BCCI had to postpone the tournament indefinitely due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. And, this has again given way to speculations on Dhoni’s future with Team India.
