Mohammed Shami once again needs to face the legal things in India, as Kolkata Court issues an arrest warrant to the Indian cricketer. Following the judgement from the court, his estranged wife Hasin Jahan quoted saying Mohammed Shami feels that he is a big cricketer and powerful in India.
In early 2018, Mohammed Shami’s wife Hasin Jahan had accused him of domestic violence. Shami and his brother were booked for domestic violence under IPC Section 498A. Since Hasin Jahan made the allegations, Mohammed Shami did not appear before court following which the ACJM gave the order.

I thank Mamata Banerjee – Hasin Jahan
Hasin Jahan further thanked the Government of West Bengal and the chief minister Mamata Banerjee for her kindness towards her. She also highlighted the wrongdoing of Uttar Pradesh police, who tried to harass her.

“Had I not been from West Bengal, had Mamata Banerjee not been our CM, I wouldn’t have been able to live safely here. Amroha (Uttar Pradesh) police was trying to harass me and my daughter, it was God’s grace that they didn’t succeed.”
