Mohammed Shami's Wife Hasin Jahan Sends Complaint's Copy to Vinod Rai

Hasin Jahan, Indian pacer Mohammad Shami‘s wife, has sent all the complaints copy to CoA.

Meanwhile, Jahan brought charges of adultery and extra-marital affairs against her husband. She also allegedly said that Shami has fixed matches.

Meanwhile, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has withheld Shami’s central contract. However, Shami has denied all the allegations brought against him and has demanded a thorough investigation.

Hasin Jahan’s lawyer admitted they have the documents related to her complaints against her husband to the BCCI’s Committee of Administrators (CoA) chairman Vinod Rai for a probe into her allegations of corruption.

“We have sent the details of the complaint lodged at Lalbazar (Kolkata Police headquarters) and the copy of the FIR to Vinod Rai,” Jahan’s lawyer Zakir Hussain said.

Meanwhile, Jahan has alleged that Shami had taken money from a Pakistani woman named Alishba. Rai has instructed the BCCI’s Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) chief Neeraj Kumar to look into the allegations.

Last week, Hasin Jahan, Shami’s wife, has charged him with domestic violence and extra-marital affairs. In a series of claims made by her last week, Jahan claimed Shami has fixed matches. She also filed a written complaint against Shami.

Kolkata Police has booked Shami under various non-bailable and bailable sections of the IPC; including Section 498A, which deals with cruelty to a woman by her husband or his relatives, Section 307 – attempt to murder, Section 323 – punishment for voluntarily causing hurt, Section 376 – rape, Section 506 – criminal intimidation, Section 328 and Section 34.
