MS Dhoni Becomes Brand Ambassador Of CARS24

MS Dhoni has associated himself with yet another brand after investing in India’s fastest growing tech-enabled used car company CARS24. Dhoni is one of the partners in the company and will thus own equity in the company. The former India skipper will also be the brand ambassador of the Gurugram-based firm. The investment is part of the series D round of funding.

Vikram Chopra, CEO and Co-founder of CARS24, said that the company is excited to have Dhoni on the board. Dhoni is one of the most popular cricketers on the planet and his addition is bound to do a world of good to the company’s popularity. Chopra also said that the partnership felt natural and perfect as both Dhoni and the company live by the same values.

“We are very excited to welcome Mahi into the CARS24 family. He is a role model and hero to most Indians. His ability to constantly evolve, innovate and find solutions to every problem thrown at him over the years have made him the most celebrated captain in the Indian history. It’s the same values that we live by at CARS24 and therefore the partnership felt natural and perfect. We also share a common love for cars which makes this even more special,” Chopra was quoted as saying by IBT.

Dhoni, on his part, said that he is excited too. The legendary cricketer said that since he is a big fan of four-wheelers, it was an easy decision for him to associate himself with the company.

Dhoni, meanwhile, is currently in Kashmir to serve the Indian army. The veteran cricketeris a Lieutenant Colonel (Honorary) of the Parachute Regiment of the Territorial Army. Dhoni has taken a break from international cricket in order to serve the army. He is currently with his battalion (106 Para TA battalion) in the Kashmir Valley. Dhoni is also likely to hoist the national flag on Independence Day at Leh district of the newly formed Union Territory of Ladakh.
