The ‘Thala’ of Chennai Super Kings (CSK), MS Dhoni had been training for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) since March 3 this year. However, amid the outbreak of the deadly coronavirus pandemic, the IPL 2020 has been postponed to April 15 by BCCI.
The postponement has sent a lot of fans into disappointment as every year the fans wait for IPL with the same enthusiasm.
The cash-rich league is none short of a carnival in India and is undoubtedly the most popular franchise T20 cricket tournament in the world.
For CSK and MS Dhoni fans, however, this year’s IPL was much more special as Mahi was set to make a grand return to cricket after last playing for India last year in the semi-final of the ICC Cricket World Cup.

Mahi’s Return To International Cricket Seems In Trouble
MS Dhoni is a legend of the Men in Blue. He has won everything that there is to and has earned a great reputation.
Dhoni has been away from international cricket for a long time now. He was last seen in the Indian colours in the Indian colours in the semi-final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.
Unfortunately, India lost the game and Dhoni has been away from the team ever since that time.
There have been a lot of speculations over his future with the Indian team and this year’s IPL was a pivotal tournament for him to determine his stint with the national side. If IPL 2020 gets cancelled, it is a huge possibility that Dhoni’s international career might come to a halt.
