MS Dhoni Set To Enter Entertainment Industry After Retirement

MS Dhoni, who called time on his international career on the Independence Day, is set to enter the entertainment industry as a producer. Dhoni has multiple businesses to his name and he had launched his banner Dhoni Entertainment in 2019 with the multilingual documentary Roar of the Lion.
Dhoni will work along side his wife Sakshi, who is handling their projects under the banner as the managing director. The production house has accumulated plenty of projects, which will be managed and worked on over the course of 2021. His next project will be a sci-fi web series which explores the journey of a mysterious Aghori.
“We have acquired the rights of an unpublished book of a debutant author. We will adapt it into a web series. It is a mythological sci-fi story that explores the journey of a mysterious Aghori and is set at a high-tech facility on a remote island,” Sakshi told Mid-day.com, adding that the adventure drama explores the genre of magical realism.
Dhoni is currently leading Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL 2020. It has personally been a tumultuous start for him and his team as they have failed to perform consistently and are seated at the bottom half of the points table.
The former India captain made a big name for himself by making the country proud with his achievements after coming from the cricketing backwaters of Ranchi. He has achieved immense success as a player and also grew up to be one of the most successful captains and achieved almost everything the ICC tournaments had to offer.
All the success had made him one of the most influential person on the cricketing circuit but he was not the same when he was first introduced to the national team. Besides that, Dhoni has also been the go-to man for his teammates whenever he was on the field.
