India’s left-handed batsman Suresh Raina reckons MS Dhoni is a go-to-man for skipper Virat Kohli. Dhoni has all the experience under his belt and he knows which decisions are apt at what situations in the game. The former captain has shrewdest of minds in the game and his astuteness can help India in staying two steps ahead in the game.

Meanwhile, MS Dhoni also guides the spinning duo of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal. Dhoni can provide invaluable suggestions which helps these two spinners to get rid of the batsmen. In fact, we have noticed in the past that how MS Dhoni’s tutelage helps the two spinners in bamboozling the batsmen.

Dhoni has all the experience.

MS Dhoni has all the experience under his belt and he is going to hold the key for the Indian team. Raina believes Dhoni will be the go-to-man for Indian skipper Virat Kohli.

“The amount of runs Dhoni has scored recently in Australia and New Zealand and the kind of guidance he gives to the youngsters in the team, especially the bowlers, that augurs really well for the boys. He has seen a lot of ups and downs, he has been a part of quite a few World Cups and has also been there in IPL finals and that is why he is the go-to-man for skipper Kohli,” Suresh Raina said while talking to Hindustan Times.

On the other hand, Suresh Raina also showered praise on current India captain Virat Kohli. The talisman batsman has led India with confidence and he has produced runs with great consistency. Kohli has shouldered the responsibility with great success in the last five years.

Virat Kohli is a brilliant leader.

“Virat Kohli is a brilliant leader as well as a brilliant player. Everyone knows how many runs he has scored. But what stands out for me when it comes to Kohli is the belief that he has and the hunger to perform in every situation. Every time there is a pressure-cooker scenario, he is ready to take the responsibility with open arms,” the 32-year-old said.

Meanwhile, Raina believes there won’t be any pressure on the India National Cricket Team in the upcoming World Cup. The southpaw batsman feels India would easily qualify for the semifinal stages which would give them the chance of going all the way in the ODI showpiece.

“I don’t really think there will be pressure. I think the way the boys have been playing, we have done really well. I won’t be surprised if we finish in the top four (at the end of the group stages) and if that happens, we clearly have a very good chance of lifting the World Cup at Lord’s,” he smiled.

MS Dhoni will like to be at the top of his game in the forthcoming tournament. Dhoni also helps Kohli in setting up the field and he is like a Messiah for the Indian bowlers. Furthermore, his calmness in crunch situations will also play a key role in the World Cup.
