MS Dhoni Plays Football With Bollywood Stars Before Joining Indian Army

It is well known that India’s former skipper MS Dhoni likes to play football. In fact, Dhoni was a goalkeeper for his school team. The talisman is often seen enjoying the football training session with the India national cricket team. Furthermore, Dhoni has also participated in many charity football matches.
Similarly, MS Dhoni played football with Bollywood stars before he left to join the Indian army. In fact, Dhoni was spotted playing soccer with Arjun Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan in Mumbai on July 28.

Dhoni will serve in the Indian army.
Dhoni was seen donning the ‘Playing for humanity’ jersey and he was involved in a training session in Juhu.

It is reported that Dhoni checked into Mumbai on 27th July. In fact, it was reported that Dhoni has joined the Indian army but he came to Mumbai before leaving for Kashmir.

Meanwhile, Dhoni has taken a two months break from the game and has informed the BCCI about the same. Subsequently, Dhoni decided to join the Indian Army’s Parachute Regiment.

The former Indian captain made himself unavailable for the tour of the West Indies. India will play three ODIs, as many T20Is and two Test matches on the tour of the Carribean.

On the other hand, the wicketkeeper-batsman was with the Army-Navy Stars XI who played against the Bollywood XI which consisted of Arjun Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Ishan Khatter, Aparshakti Khurana and others at a football stadium in Mumbai.
On July, 25, the Indian Army stated, “Lieutenant Colonel (Honorary) MS Dhoni is proceeding to 106 TA Battalion (Para) for being with the Battalion from 31 Jul-15 Aug 19.”

“As requested by the officer and approved by Army Headquarters; he will be taking on the duties of patrolling, guard and post duty and would be staying with troops”, the statement mentioned.
Meanwhile, the talisman was conferred with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Territorial Army in 2015. The former captain will serve in the Kashmir Valley of the Victor force from 31st July to 15 August.
