The 226-ODI veteran went on to disclose having a camp in the UAE where they will reach 18-20 days before the competition. Suresh Raina feels excited about the tournament since they have stayed under the lockdown for 4-5 months due to the COVID-19 pandemic, hence is eager to take the field.

The tournament begins on the 19th of September and ends on the 10th of November. Three-time IPL champions CSK ended as the runners-up the previous time, losing to Mumbai Indians by one run.

We are going to have a camp. We have lots to do, we are going there I think 18-20 days before. It is good to go early because IPL is coming and we have been under lockdown for 4-5 months. So, it is good to be there before IPL and it is going to be exciting,” the Uttar Pradesh-born cricketer added.
