MS Dhoni Is Calm Captain, Virat Kohli Is Naturally Aggressive: Ravi Shastri

A captain’s approach is crucial for any team. He can set the tempo of the side and even lift or guide them in difficult situations. MS Dhoni and his predecessor Virat Kohli are completely different to each other as captains and both have been successful in international cricket in their own ways.
Dhoni has achieved immense success as a player and also grew up to be one of the most successful captains and achieved almost everything the ICC tournaments had to offer. Kohli took over in 2014 and he has only grown as a captain. He likes the ruthless approach in his side and has become the most successful Test captain for Team India.

Team India head coach Ravi Shastri said the obvious as he pointed out that Kohli and Dhoni have different approach as captain. Dhoni is calm while Kohli is aggressive and in your face type of captain. However, he mentioned that both are very successful.
“One is calm and composed, other is in your face. Dhoni is calm, Virat is naturally aggressive. Both are very successful,” Shastri told Times Now.
The next assignment for Kohli will be in Australia where India will will resume their international action after the Covid-19 break. India’s tour Down Under is the most-anticipated series’ for Cricket Australia after the pandemic situation has hit the normal schedule.

The board has made special arrangements for the series, including the bio-bubble, as the traditional four-Test series will help them to recover from the losses due to non-commencement of matches.
The hosting board has been hit by a major turmoil in the recent past, and it continues to worsen.
