Further, he also clarified that MS Dhoni is not going to contest in any elections or working for any political party. And also, he spoke on MS Dhoni’s intention to help Virat Kohli learn the captaincy tactics ahead of the grand event.

“It’s been a long cherished dream of Dhoni — since he gave up the captaincy in white ball cricket — to play in the World Cup next year where he would be more as a mentor to the team,” Arun Pandey, his longtime friend and manager, confided to Gulf News.

“His idea was to give Kohli time to develop in this role and there is still no change in his thinking. It’s completely a conjecture,” he said when asked about the latest rumours of MS Dhoni joining in BJP party.

However, it is pleasing to know that MSD is pretty determined to play well in the upcoming 2019 World Cup. Hopefully, he will come good to make the things happen for team India.
