MS Dhoni's Biopic Sequel Not Possible After Sushant Singh Rajput's Untimely Demise: Arun Pandey

Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely demise has left a big void in the hearts of everyone. The talented, self-made 34-year-old actor died of suicide on Sunday (June 14th).
Rajput, who rose to fame with Ekta Kapoor’s television show ‘Pavitra Rishta’, following which he took to leap to Bollywood where he gave a plethora of gems like Kai Poche, Detective Byomkesh Bakshi, and the most recent Chichore.
Sushant’s most memorable performance, however, came in MS Dhoni’s biopic ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’. The movie depicted the struggles of MS Dhoni’s initial struggles and his rise to fame, culminating with the 2011 World Cup win.

Sushant got into the skin of MS Dhoni’s character, making it virtually impossible to differentiate between the reel and real-life Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
The sequel to MS Dhoni’s biopic had long been in the minds of the makers but Sushant’s tragic demise has put end to all those plans.
“A sequel has been long crossing his mind and there were thinking of coming up with something at some point of time but given what happened today, everything is now meaningless,” Arun Pandey, MS Dhoni’s manager and co-producer of MS Dhoni: The Untold Story was quoted as saying by ABP news.

MS Dhoni shared a very good rapport with Sushant Singh Rajput and according to his manager, the news of Sushant’s death has jolted the former Indian captain to the core.
‘Mahi is also very morose. Such a tragic incident. We can’t even believe what has happened. I am not in a position to express my grief,” Pandey told ABP Ananda.
