One of the major surprises in India’s squad for the upcoming T20I series against South Africa is the change in the spin department. They rested Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal in the T20I format and asked the youngsters to fill the shoes of the Wrist duo. Another major surprise was the unavailability of MS Dhoni for the series.

India’s chief selector MSK Prasad has confirmed that MS Dhoni distanced himself for the three T20 matches against the Proteas, as reported by various media houses. However, the reason behind the omission of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal is still mysterious piece, which was solved now by MSK Prasad.
