Mujeeb Ur Rahman Secures 2nd Place In ICC T20I Rankings For Bowlers, Rashid Khan Tops The Chart

The two Afghanistan stars Rashid Khan and Mujeeb ur Rahman top the ICC T20I Rankings for bowlers in Men’s Cricket. Skipper Rashid Khan continued to stay at top of the table while Mujeeb ur Rahman leapt as many as 6 places to take the 2nd place in the rankings’ chart following an impressive show in the 3-match series against West Indies.

Mujeeb ur Rahman excelled with the ball as Afghanistan routed West Indies in the recently-concluded 3-match series. His economical overs at crucial stages of the game helped Afghanistan to bag a series victory against Kieron Pollard-led West Indies. During the course of his performances, he improved his points in the bowling chart as well.

Mujeeb ur Rahman seven points away from Rashid Khan:
Mujeeb ur Rahman, who started the series at 8th place in the chart, has delivered brilliant performances to overhaul six places. He knocked down Mitchell Santner, Imad Wasim, Adam Zampa, Andile Phehlukwayo, Adil Rashid and Shadab Khan to take the second place in the ICC T20I Rankings for bowlers.
He is just seven points away from his skipper Rashid Khan, who is leading the chart with 749 points. Certainly, it is a proud moment for Afghanistan with two of their best players taking control of ICC Rankings Chart. New Zealand bowler Mitchell Santner is placed at the 3rd spot with 698 points.
Following him, Imad Wasim of Pakistan and Adam Zampa of Australia are placed 4th and 5th with 681 and 678 points respectively. Andile Phehlukwayo of South Africa, who is one of the two fast bowlers placed in the chart ranked 6th with 665 points while the England spinner Adil Rashid is at the seventh position.

Coming to the 8th position, it was Shadab Khan of Pakistan, who is at 657 points while Ashton Agar of Australia was placed ninth with 649 points. The chart ends with Chris Jordon of England with 640 points. Surprisingly, the chart was completely dominated by the spinners with only 2 fast bowlers place in the top 10 of ICC T20I Rankings for Bowlers.
