The plans of England to decipher India’s Chinaman spinner Kuldeep Yadav in order to prove inefficacious and otiose in the ongoing limited-overs series so far went in vain. Instead of being an escapologist in the streets of London, the 23-year-old Uttar Pradesh-based Kuldeep Yadav, is proving himself as a tormentor.

An overview:

The star in making Kuldeep, who hails from the city of Kanpur claimed six wickets in the first One-day International against England.

Moreover, the venue of the match was Nottingham and Kuldeep on such a batting paradise gave no chance to England whatsoever. England batters could only manage to attain a par score of 268 runs at a venue that is famous for high run scoring encounters.

Urgings of Graham Thorpe:

In the second ODI which is being played at London, England players were looking desperate to find out a way to wriggle out of the plans of the left-arm Chinaman.

Graham Thorpe, the former English batsman urges England to keep an open mind against Kuldeep. He advised England that there is a need to formulate plans against such a class spinner.

Thorpe believes the more plans against him, the more trajectory England will face. He reiterated the speed of the ball and other things will be better in England’s favour.

The same love saga:

In the second ODI, the same love story of Kuldeep Yadav and “ hitting the bull’s eye” continued. Soon after England openers were off to a brisk start, Virat Kohli brought his “ace-player”.

In his first over, Kuldeep reaped the result that Kohli would have actually dreamt of. He removed the dangerous Jonny Bairstow who played a patient knock of 38 runs.

However, England players played cautiously on Saturday (July 14) but the infamous love story further continued. Although they didn’t take any risk against Kuldeep. The promising spinner was able to take three wickets and once again all from the top order section.
