The classy skipper registered a stunning 90-run tally to push his side for a victory. When the equation came to 15 runs required off six balls, Morgan failed to do it for the team.

The first couple of balls have been knocked for a single while the third ball saw Morgan walking back to the hut. Morgan was quickly followed by Simpson, who was failed to deal with Archer’s stunning yorker.

When it required one more wicket for a hat-trick, James Fuller missed the full-toss thus handing a memorable hat-trick and a victory for Archer and Sussex respectively.

Speaking of the hat-trick, Archer told Sussex that: “It only clicked after the third wicket. When it hit him on the shin I was like, ‘I think that’s three in a row.”

Sussex seals the thriller:

Earlier, it was Sussex who took the charge of smashing the leather registered a fine 168-run tally on the board. The opener, Philip Salt has been the wrecker-in-chief who smacked a 20-ball 50.
