Indian young opener Sanju Samson just does not seem to find his form in international cricket. Once again, he threw away his wicket in the ongoing 5th T20I between India and New Zealand. Rohit Sharma is leading India in the game and he gave Samson another chance to portray his potential by sending him along with KL Rahul to open the innings. But, Samson, as always, just couldn’t find his rhythm and was dismissed in the second over of the game itself.

The right-handed batsman played five balls and could manage to score only two runs. He was caught in the covers by Mitchell Santner off Scott Kuggeleijn on the third delivery of the second over.

Samson tried to hit a cover drive but couldn’t keep the ball grounded and it was a dolly for Santner to grab. This has once again proved the team management’s decision to keep him away from international cricket on spot.

Samson’s chances are now fading away. He has been the talk of the town for a long time but he doesn’t seem to find his form. Samson clearly lacks the temperament and now the board and the team management would like to move on.

Moreover, If  Samson looks forward to a chance in the senior national side, he will have to display a lot of patience in his batting.
