Indian young opener Sanju Samson just does not seem to find his form in international cricket. Once again, he threw away his wicket in the ongoing 5th T20I between India and New Zealand. Rohit Sharma is leading India in the game and he gave Samson another chance to portray his potential by sending him along with KL Rahul to open the innings. But, Samson, as always, just couldn’t find his rhythm and was dismissed in the second over of the game itself.
The right-handed batsman played five balls and could manage to score only two runs. He was caught in the covers by Mitchell Santner off Scott Kuggeleijn on the third delivery of the second over.
Samson tried to hit a cover drive but couldn’t keep the ball grounded and it was a dolly for Santner to grab. This has once again proved the team management’s decision to keep him away from international cricket on spot.

Twitter Trolls Sanju Samson After His Dismissal:
Samson has once again opened himself to criticism and trolls after his dismissal in the fifth game.
The fans are now demanding that he should be removed from the national side and doesn’t deserve a spot there. One fan took to Twitter and asked why Rishabh Pant is not being given a chance.
Another fan questioned Samson’s temperament and stated that he doesn’t deserve any more chances in the national side.
Fans have started believing that this might be the last time that Sanju Samson has represented the National side. A fan tweeted the same.
A fan even questioned Samson’s role in the team, as the opening batting slots are already reserved.

Sir what’s the actual role of Sanju Samson in the team..because we all know even after scoring a century as an opener he would not able to open the batting because opening is reserved..— Manjit SINGH (@ManjitS78290127) February 2, 2020
Team India changed the batting order to fit in Samson in the fifth T20I. Rohit Sharma shifted himself to 3rd position and Samson opened the innings. Now fans are questioning this decision too.

Do you think making Sanju Samson open the innings when you have KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma in the team is a correct choice when you already have Shikhar Dhawan ready to come back when he will be fit.#AskStar— Raj sharan singh (@raj3121989) February 2, 2020
Some fans are even demanding the return of MS Dhoni in the national side. Many believe that MS Dhoni has still got the potential to help India win in international games. A fan tweeted:
@StarSportsIndia Since Sanju samson and rishab pant is not giving their best perfomance, So should india call Dhoni for next T20

Some fans believe that Samson is under too much pressure and the team should experiment with him in the ODIs. A fan tweeted saying
#askstarsports Indian team should give sanju samson chance for ODIs

Samson’s chances are now fading away. He has been the talk of the town for a long time but he doesn’t seem to find his form. Samson clearly lacks the temperament and now the board and the team management would like to move on.
Moreover, If Samson looks forward to a chance in the senior national side, he will have to display a lot of patience in his batting.
