New Zealand vs India 2020: Twitter Reacts As Rohit Sharma's Excellence Takes India To Stunning Win In Super Over

What a thriller it was at Hamilton? The incredible hitting from Rohit Sharma outsmarted the top knock played by Kane Williamson. The incredible final over from Mohammed Shami and the brilliant hitting by Rohit Sharma, in the end, helped India seal their first-ever T20I series in New Zealand.
Chasing a massive score on the board, Martin Guptill and Colin Munro have started things well but surprisingly, they failed to carry the momentum with them. Especially, Colin Munro, who never got going in the middle. A blistering catch by Sanju Samson in the deep gave India a breakthrough while Ravindra Jadeja dismissed Colin Munro to deepen the sorrows of New Zealand.
Like India, New Zealand sent Mitchell Santner up in the order but the southpaw failed to execute plans. However, Kane Williamson played stunning strokes in the middle overs to keep up with the run rate. He was the lone warrior for the team in the middle, who kept the Indian bowlers on their toes.
He was dismissed with only 3 runs to win which changed the game as Mohammed Shami managed to defend the runs in final over to take the game into super over. Earlier in the match, Rohit Sharma displayed his class to help India post a massive tally on the board. He smashed Bennett to 26 runs in an over, which also saw him finishing his half-century.
Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer smashed a few boundaries in the middle overs to balance the innings for India. Just when things looked in control for India, Shreyas Iyer was dismissed by Santner while Virat Kohli failed to give a powerful finish to the innings. In the end, all they managed was 179 on the board with the help of Manish Pandey and Ravindra Jadeja.
In the super over, Kane Williamson once again stood tall for the team but Rohit Sharma proved his class by smashing two sixes off the final two balls to seal the series. All in all, it was an incredible game between New Zealand and India at Seddon Park. Now, both teams will travel to Wellington for the 4th T20I of the series.

Bumrah is the best death bowler. But even the best have off-days.
— Harsha Bhogle (@bhogleharsha) January 29, 2020
If India lose this, it isn't Bumrah's fault but Kohli's.
Even the star bowler can have an off game, but not having the presence of mind as a captain to bowl your inform bowler has no excuse ?♂️

This is Kane Williamson's day! Batted like a man possessed. How many batsmen can smash Bumrah away? Sheer brilliance. #INDvsNZ
