Mohammad Hafeez returns to Pakistan’s ODI and T20I squad, as the board announces teams for the Zimbabwe tour.

His inclusion came after his bowling action got cleared last month. The veteran all-rounder’s action was reported suspect during the ODI series in Sri Lanka in the United Arab Emirates. It was an assessment in October which deemed his bowling illegal for the 3rd time in his career.

He underwent several measures and eventually got cleared to bowl after an assessment on May. The Pakistan Selection Committee head Inzamam-ul-Haq had said Hafez’s place was warranted after he cleared his action.

Meanwhile rookie opener, Sahibzada Farhan also got selected in the T20I squad. It comes after he showed good performances in the domestic circuit said Inzamam.

The youngster hails from a small city in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province known, as Charsadda. Zimbabwe will host Pakistan and Australia in a T20I tri-series before Pakistan lock horns against the African minnows in a five-match ODI series. The T20I series will be held from 1st to 8t July. Meanwhile, the ODI series is slated to start from 13th July.
