Pakistan Coach Mickey Arthur Demands Apology from PCB Chief Mohsin Khan

Of late, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is taking the headliners in the cricketing world more often than not. Sadly, most of the times in adverse situations. Recently, the cricket committee chief, Mohsin Khan termed Mickey Arthur, ‘Stupid and Donkey’ for supporting discarded cricketer, Mohammad Amir.

Regarding the incident, Pakistan cricket team’s head coach, Mickey Arthur has demanded an unconditional apology. He wants it from the newly appointed chairman of Cricket Committee, Mohsin Khan for his offensive statements in the media.

Meanwhile, it is learnt from the sources that the head coach, Mickey Arthur has made it clear to the board he needs an apology over those comments. Further, Mickey added that he wouldn’t be available for the meetings until the apology gets conveyed.

Mohsin Khan attended a media channel alongside the stalwart players like Wasim Akram and Misbah-ul-Haq and ex-captain of the Pakistan women’s team, Urooj Mumtaz. He termed Arthur “stupid and donkey” for supporting Amir.

The respective board established the committee to look after the performances of certain key individuals. They have to make a report of the accomplishments and hand it to the board if they feel the individuals aren’t up to the mark.

Recently, Mickey Arthur has also got differences with the chief selector, Inzamam ul Haq as well. The duo involved in some heated arguments over the selection of Mohammad Hafeez, especially, in the 50-over format of the game.

Despite all, Pakistan Cricket Board has extended his contract until the upcoming 2019 World Cup. It would be interesting to see how things would pan out for the Pakistan Cricket Board.
