After having taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match One-Day International series, the Pakistan Cricket team is on experimental mode.
The Misbah Ul-Haq-led selection committee has made three changes to the squad that beat Zimbabwe in the opening two games of the three-match rubber.
Opener Abid Ali, fast bowler Haris Rauf and all-rounder Imad Wasim have been replaced by rookie batsman Abdullah Shafique, pacer Mohammad Hasnain, and spinner Zafar Gohar.

The final ODI of the series will be played on November 04 in Rawalpindi and Misbah Ul-Haq while briefing the media on the eve of the game said that the playing XI will be decided after the inspection of the pitch on match-day.
“We will decide the playing XI tomorrow after looking at the pitch,” said Pakistan’s head coach-cum-chief selector Misbah-ul-Haq was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.
Misbah also went on to laud the positive brand of cricket that Pakistan played in the last game.
Pakistan’s six-wicket win in the second ODI was spearheaded by Iftikhar Ahmed’s five-wicket-haul. Iftikhar’s spell restricted Zimbabwe to an underwhelming total of 206, which was easily chased down by the home side thanks to an unbeaten 74-ball 77 by skipper, Babar Azam.
“We played positive cricket in the previous game which was good to see,” he added.
