It was an incredible Test match in Dubai the other weekend. However, Pakistan would be the most frustrating side of the two with the game going away from within their sights. Meanwhile, they are prepared mentally for the second Test and also announced their 12-man squad for the 2nd Test of Pakistan vs Australia 2018 series.

The second Test is scheduled to be played in Abu Dhabi on October 16th. They announced 12-member list while the final team will get revealed at the time of toss.

Fakhar Zaman makes the cut for Pakistan vs Australia in the 2nd Test:

The injury to Imam Ul Haq has paved the way for Fakhar Zaman to make his Test debut in Abu Dhabi. He will get joined with Mohammed Hafeez at the top or order to face the brand-new cherry.

It would be a great debut for Fakhar Zaman, as he always been top-class against Australia. Recently, he smashed a scintillating knock to bag the tri-series in Zimbabwe facing Australian bowlers in the final.

The rest of the batting lineup has been the same with the likes of Haris Sohail, Asad Shafiq, Sarfraz Ahmed forming the middle-order. Babar Azam once again set to get a go at number six to face the second new ball.

Surprisingly, Mir Hamza has made it to the 12-man squad thus leaving Wahab Riaz to face uncertainty in the playing XI. Wahab Riaz hasn’t shown his mark in the Dubai Test which might push Pakistan to go for Mir Hamza.

Meanwhile, the 26-year-old Hamza hasn’t played for Pakistan in any format but has impressed during the opening month of the domestic first-class competition thus bagging a slot in the national team.

Also, here is the 2nd Test squad:

Sarfraz Ahmed (c), Mohammad Hafeez, Fakhar Zaman, Azhar Ali, Haris Sohail, Asad Shafiq, Babar Azam, Bilal Asif, Yasir Shah, Mohammad Abbas, Mir Hamza, Wahab Riaz.
