That Shri Narendra Modi would once again become the next Prime Minister of India is just a matter of time. The election commission is yet to officially announce the result but the trends are showing Shri Modi is set for a second stint as Prime Minister. The leads in the election results are showing the BJP crossing the halfway mark on its own steam and a sweep by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the Lok Sabha election.

People across the nation are busy congratulating BJP and Shri Modi on the landslide win. The BJP is doing well in most states, including the three heartland states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, wrested by the Congress in December. It is also ahead in Karnataka – a state the Congress rules jointly with HD Kumaraswamy. This year, elections were held on 542 of the 543 Lok Sabha seats and a party or alliance needs 272 seats to form government.  BJP looks set to achieve the majority of seats and form government again.

And even before Election Commission’s official announcement, India and Royal Challengers Bangalore star Parthiv Patel took to Twitter to congratulate Shri Narendra Modi and BJP, writing:

“Right leader, efficient team. Strong pace, right direction. India in safe hands.#abetternationeveryday @narendramodi_in @AmitShah”

Patel, meanwhile, recently turned up for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League despite his father being seriously ill. Parthiv was one of Royal Challengers’ most impressive performers this season. He scored 373 runs from 14 games although the Royal Challengers failed to make it to the playoffs once again.
