Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Parthiv Patel has stated that he is satisfied with the amount of cricket he has played and does not consider himself unlucky to be playing in the Dhoni era. Parthiv Patel also heaped praise on former Indian skipper MS Dhoni, asserting that Dhoni made full use of the opportunities and that’s why he was a regular find in the team.

MS Dhoni has had a legendary figure in Indian cricket. Ever since he broke into the India team, he has been hard to replace. His fitness levels and consistent performances have ensured that he stays on top of the game for a very long time. Now, that MS Dhoni has been away from the Indian side for over a year, his replacement still hasn’t been found.

Speaking on 100 Hours 100 Stars – a video campaign by Fever Network, Patel said that he does not feel unlucky to be born in the ‘Dhoni era’.

His return was much anticipated with the return of IPL 2020 this year as he was back to the field sweating it hard for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). However, the BCCI had to postpone the tournament indefinitely due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. And, this has again given way to speculations on Dhoni’s future with Team India.
