All three matches will be played in Rotterdam from August 16. The matches which were initially scheduled to be played in July 2020 had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. All the three matches – scheduled to be played on August 16, 18, and 21 respectively will be hosted at the VOC Cricket Ground.

The two teams have previously faced each other in three ODIs – in the 1996 and 2003 world cups as well as the 2002 Champions Trophy – with Pakistan winning on all three occasions.

Our men’s national cricket team had an excellent 2021-22 season and I am confident they will build on the momentum to entertain expat Pakistanis and the Dutch spectators with good cricket. This series will also help KNCB attract new and young audiences towards the game,” he said.

Currently, Pakistan is placed ninth on the ICC table with six wins and as many losses in 12 matches. Meanwhile, the Netherlands find themselves at the bottom table with only two wins in 10 matches.
