Mohammad Hafeez should have spoken to us first: PCB CEO Wasim Khan

PCB CEO Wasim Khan has conveyed his disappointment over Hafeez’s conduct and has spoken to him personally. He, however, said that Hafeez had the right to take a private test but should have spoken to the board first as it has created a problem for them.

“I spoke to Hafeez today and I made it clear to him our disappointment at the way he had handled this entire affair,” PCB CEO Khan told the Cricket Baaz YouTube channel on Wednesday.

Despite the players being contracted with the virus, their board looks optimistic about the England tour. The tour is discussed to be organised in a bio-secure environment and the Pakistan camp might opt for a few substitutes in these crisis situation.

Pakistan will tour England for a Test and T20I series, which will get underway from July 30 with the T20I series concluding in the first week of September.
