Shahid Afridi took a one-handed blinder against Quetta Gladiator in the second match of the third season of Pakistan Super League at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai.

Batting first the Karachi Kings posted 149 in their quota of 20 overs.

Colin Ingram top-scored for the Karachi based franchise with 41 runs but was unlucky to be given out. At one stage, the Kings looked on course to post a massive total around 180, but the middle order and the lower middle order failed to capitalize on the start.

Afridi, who was the star name, was dismissed for just four runs off eight deliveries.

Quetta Gladiators were restricted to 66/5 before Afridi took one of the most stunning one-handed boundary catch.

Umar Amin was the unlucky batsman to be dismissed on the bowling of Mohammad Irfan. Amin who tried to hit the ball for a six over long-on but Shahid Afridi had different ideas as he extended his arm and caught the ball. He then flipped the ball up as he unbalanced going into the boundary.

He retained his balance and came back into play to catch the ball.
