The mystery off-spinner from Windies, Sunil Narine, was reported for suspected illegal bowling action in Pakistan Super League.

The incident took place during last night’s clash between Lahore Qalanders and Quetta Gladiators in Sharjah.

However, Narine can continue with his bowling since he is on the warning list now.

Meanwhile, PSL adheres to the ICC’s regulations concerning illegal bowling action. It states that if a player is reported while on the warning list, he will be suspended from bowling in the tournament after that, but can be picked in the side.

The match officials’ report will also be sent to the West Indies Cricket Board for further action. Meanwhile, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) states on this.

Narine has been reported for a suspected illegal bowling action during Wednesday s PSL Twenty20 game between Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators at Sharjah,” the PCB said in a statement. “The match officials report on Narine s bowling action will be sent to Cricket West Indies (CWI).  Also,  he will have to go through the process that is followed by the CWI, for suspected illegal bowling actions.”

Previously, ICC suspended Narine from bowling from international cricket after they found his action illegal during an ODI game against Sri Lanka in 2015.

However, later ICC cleared him of bowling in domestic and international game.

Earlier also Narine received warning for a suspect action during the Champions League 2014 and IPL 2015.

Meanwhile, it will come as a massive blow for the Kolkata Knight Riders. They retained the star bowler who had dome impeccably well for the side in the past.

This edition of IPL will start from April 7 with Chennai Super Kings facing Mumbai Indians.

Narine last played for his country in 2017 in a T20I game against England. Further, he has played six Tests, 65 ODIs, and 48 T20Is for the Caribbean side. Narine has an outstanding economy rate to his name picking 21, 92, and 50 wickets, respectively. He is also well-known playing in different franchise leagues around the world.
