Quinton de Kock Breaks Into Top 10 Of The Latest ICC T20I Batting Rankings

South African wicketkeeper-opener Quinton de Kock has broken into the top 10 batsmen list in the latest iteration of the ICC T20I batting rankings for men’s cricket. He was the chief reason apart from the bowlers, that South Africa was able to white-wash Sri Lanka 3-0 in their own backyard in the recent T20I series.
Quinton De Kock made 153 runs at an average of 153.00 and with a strike rate of 121.42. He also made two half-centuries and his highest score was 59*. In total, the left-hander hit 17 fours and one solitary six. This amazing display has helped Quinton De Kock rise 4 places in the latest ICC T20I batting rankings and is now placed at the eighth spot.
His opening partner Reeza Hendricks was the second-highest run-scorer in the series with 112 runs, which resulted in the right-hander breaking into the top 20. South African Aiden Markram also made huge gains in the latest rankings updates, climbing 12 spots to become the 11th ranked batter in T20Is.

Nasum Ahmed, who also picked a four-fer in the same match gained 25 places in the T20I bowling rankings to become the 15th ranked T20I bowler in the world. On the other hand, skipper Mahmudullah’s good batting display has led him to break into the top 10 of T20I all-rounders rankings at the no. 10 spot.
Shakib Al Hasan dropped to the no.2 spot after being rested for the 5th T20I and Mohammad Nabi became the top-ranked T20I all-rounder.
