Rahul Tewatia has arguably been the find for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2020. Not only has Rahul Tewatia displayed his heroics with the bat and ball, but also in the field, taking some outstanding catches and saving some invaluable runs. On Friday against Kings XI Punjab in Abu Dhabi, it was a case of the 27-year old taking a marvellous catch to dismiss Nicholas Pooran.

The incident occurred in the 18th over when Ben Stokes came in to bowl his final over. Ben Stokes had bowled well on the night and his figures showed 3-0-19-1, already having accounted for the opposing captain KL Rahul for 46. In the last ball of that over, the medium pace bowler delivered a short slower ball and Pooran pulled into the square leg region. It looked like the ball will travel over Tewatia; however, the all-rounder jumped at the perfect time to pluck it inches within the boundary.

Kings XI Punjab, who have won five matches on the bounce, stuck with the same team or the winning combination. On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals made one change, drafting Varun Aaron for Ankit Rajpoot. Chris Gayle’s innings of 99 played a vital role in lifting KXIP to a formidable total of 185, setting the Royals 186. It will take some chasing from the Royals, despite successfully gunning down 195 against Mumbai Indians at the same venue.
