Afghanistan star Rashid Khan has accepted the quirky catch challenge thrown by India skipper Virat Kohli.

The India batting star took to Twitter to post a video of himself taking some unusual catches.

“Ok guys, you know the drill, 8 seconds, 6 different catches, zero misses. Are you faster than me?” he said while tagging KL Rahul, Jonty Rhodes, Rashid Khan, Aditya Tare, Herschelle Gibbs and Shakib Al Hasan to complete the challenge.

“Game for the #QuirkyCatches Challenge?@klrahul11 @JontyRhodes8 @rashidkhan_19 @adu97 @faf1307 @hershybru @Sah75official let’s see how crazy you guys can get.Send in ur #QuirkyCatches videos tagging @PUMACricket & #NewLevels.  2 quirkiest ones get a catching faceoff with me.?,” wrote Kohli.

And Rashid was quick to accept the challenge although he was cautious at the same time, writing:

“I’m up for challenge @imVkohli Bhai .Cant beat you but will try our best ?????”

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli is currently in England for the ongoing Test series. The 29-year old has been in stunning form with the bat and has already scored 430 runs in 3 games with the help of two tons and one fifty.

On Thursday (August 23), he reclaimed the top spot in ICC Test Rankings for batsmen after his scores of 97 and 103 in the third Test at Trent Bridge.

Kohli reached a career-best 937 rating points which helped him to dethrone Steve Smith from the top. Kohli had reached the No.1 spot after scoring 151 and 49 in the first Test at Edgbaston. However, scores of 23 and 17 at Lord’s saw him losing his spot.

But the India skipper bounced back in style at Trent Bridge.

With 937 points,  Kohli is now only one point outside the top 10 of an all-time rating points list.

The list is led by the legendary Don Bradman (961 points), Steve Smith (947), Len Hutton (945), Jack Hobbs and Ricky Ponting (both on 942), Peter May (941), and Gary Sobers, Clyde Walcott, Vivian Richards and Kumar Sangakkara (all on 938 points).
